Open House Committee

The Open House Committee Lead is a short-term, one-and-done role focused on light setup (decorating and tabletop prep) a few days before the event and serving as a point person during Open House to help guide families as they arrive. There’s still plenty of time during the day to shift into parent mode and enjoy your own student’s Open House experience, so you can support the event and be fully present for your family.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of PTA involvement with Open House
• Coordinates volunteers (interpreters and parents)
• Collaborates with Lead Co-President to create event map
• Sets up and decorates for Open House
• Manages responsibilities within the assigned budget
• Reports to Co-Presidents
