Campus Grounds Committee
The Campus Grounds Committee brings together volunteers who enjoy beautification projects, seasonal cleanups, and the occasional unique campus project. From planting and painting to mulching, weeding, and minor repairs, this role helps add beauty, function, and a little extra care to our campus.
Summer Planning & Transition
- Meets with Co-Presidents to walk and assess the campus grounds
Core Responsibilities
- Identifies areas across campus in need of beautification, maintenance, or minor repair
- Coordinates 2 seasonal campus workdays—on in the fall and one in spring
- Attends campus cleanup event
- Submits event recaps to the Co-VP of Digital Communications for newsletter publication
- Attends Board Meetings in the month leading up to and following each Campus Cleanup event
- Reports to Co-Presidents
Campus Stewards (5 positions)
- Monitors dedicated zones, identifies areas in need of attention, reports findings to the Co-Presidents, and engages the community to pitch in for mini-projects as needed.

Community Campus Cleanup Organizers (2 positions)
- At least one month prior to each event, the Organizer:
- Develops goals and project lists
- Inventories supplies and tools
- Promotes the event across PTA communication channels
- On the day of the event, the Organizer:
- Sets up tools and supplies
- Welcomes and directs volunteers
- Ensures proper cleanup and storage of materials
Budget & Projects
- Manages and operates within the assigned budget
- Solicits bids from outside vendors for some projects
- Advises Co-Presidents on significant or high-cost campus needs
- Seeks approval from Co-Presidents and Principal prior to major undertakings
