year book pickup

Your Yearbooks Are Ready!!!

We are so excited to hand out your yearbooks! We will be distributing them next Wednesday the 13th at the Briarlake Forest. You may pick them up between the hours of 9-11 am and 5-7 pm.

We are asking that you drive up with your child's yellow school pickup sign visible in your windshield. We will then pull your child's yearbook based on their last name and hand it to you at your car window. All books have been organized alphabetically. We will be masked in order to social distance as much as possible. Of course if you are within walking distance you may certainly walk over as well.

Any books that are not able to be picked up will be sent to the school for pickup at a later date. If you would like someone to pick the book up for you, please give them your yellow sign and we will assume that they have your permission to do so. If you do not have your yellow sign anymore, please make a sign with your child's name on it.

You can still order your yearbook online here for home delivery!

Thanks so much,

Your yearbook staff

Briarlake Elementary will be a designated No Place for Hate school for the 2019-2020 school year! Thank you Ms. Thomas for spearheading this great initiative!

tackling food insecurity in the lakeside cluster

With school closed and the Covid-19 pandemic, families are more worried than ever about where their next meal will come from. We have started raising funds to provide grocery store gift cards to families in need. In just under two weeks, we have raised over $11,000 thanks to the generosity of this community.

To request meal assistance, please go to this website: https://form.jotform.com/201196195067054

To donate to the fund, please visit: https://www.lakesidefoundation.org

Thank you Briarlake families for stepping up and helping one of our own as they continue to recover from a house fire.  Below is a note of gratitude from the family.

“Hi Everyone! Ava and I would like to personally thank you all for all of your donations and kind words! Thank you for helping us during such a difficult time. You are all appreciated!! Have a great summer and stay safe.
