2019-2020 student placement considerations
Briarlake teachers and administration are planning for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. If you have significant concerns that should be considered as class lists are developed, please submit this form by February 28, 2020.
The next, greatest event in musical history is coming soon! 3rd Grade, 4th Grade and 5th Grade will perform in Concert, Tuesday, February 25 at 6:00 pm in the Briarlake cafeteria.
It will be Awesome!
Come see our future superstars in this year's performance. Learning and performing this program has been our major class project for the past few weeks. Every student has been rehearsing and we want to make sure they get to be awesome with us. There is only one concert, so please make every effort to have every student there. If your student cannot attend, please send an email to Mr. Lee so we can adjust our plans. firstname.lastname@example.org
On concert day, students should arrive between 5:30 and 5:45 and go to their classroom. They will come to the stage as a group. If you arrive before 5:30, please hold your student with you until 5:30. We will not wear any special outfits but will dress for a dress up occasion. The concert should last about 45 minutes. 3rd Grade performs first, then 4th Grade and 5th Grade.
HMS PARENT TOURS
The parents of rising 6th graders will have a chance to tour Henderson Middle School at one of the three daytime parent tours. Note, this is separate from the rising 6th grade orientation that students will attend. Please see attached flyer for more information.
THIRD ACADEMIC CHALLENGE
It's all about the A in STEM! Art!

Students who complete the challenge will have their names posted in the Blast and will receive a certificate and prizes. This is meant to be a challenge.
